Main Part: Reviewed papers
Approximately five papers with maximum 5000 words plus max. 10 illustrations, depending on the length of the individual papers. All articles are subject to rigorous, fair and efficient peer review to ensure high standards and international relevance.

Section: Fluid Power Research Centres around the World
The aim is to introduce  the  fluid power research and education centres with their expertise and particular interests. In each issue one research centre should present itself. A sequence is implemented in this column to jump from continent to continent.

Section: Software for Fluid Power Technology This part consists of technical notes or case studies describing software tools, which were developed or are commercially available to solve special problems in the field of fluid power technology. These technical notes should not exceed 1000 words and 5 illustrations.

Section: Readers Information This section includes:

    Through the listing of PhD theses and habilitations worldwide completed, books published as well as prizes awarded, the International Journal of Fluid Power strives to keep its readers informed of new literature and scientific works. Names of authors, title, publisher, ISBN, date, abstract and in case of PhD theses, name of university and institute are desired. The abstract should not exceed 200 words.
